Promensil general information

What is Promensil used for?

Promensil Menopause is a dietary supplement for women for management of symptoms of menopause, like hot flushes and night sweats, caused by lack of oestrogen. Promensil Menopause tablets also help menopausal women manage the impacts of normal hormonal fluctuations to maintain wellbeing throughout that stage in life, including maintaining bone, heart and cardiovascular heath.

How does Promensil work?

Promensil Menopause contains biologically active naturally-occurring plant ingredients, extracted from the red clover, including the four active isoflavones, genistein, daidzein, formononetin and biochanin. Isoflavones are phytoestrogens or plant oestrogens, which are chemically similar to naturally-occurring oestrogens that are lacking during menopause, and can mimic some of their actions. Oestrogen is a steroid hormone produced by the ovaries that binds to specific receptors inside oestrogen-responsive cells and stimulates them to make proteins involved in regulating the menstrual cycle, maintaining bone mass and various other metabolic processes. Isoflavones in Promensil Menopause help relieve some of the symptoms caused by lack of naturally-occurring oestrogens, including hot flushes and night sweats and may help maintaining heart and bone health.
